Benjamin McGarry – Short Bio
Ben has been an HR professional for over 17 years now. He has extensive HR management experience in the dairy industry, along with 4 years in sales and marketing. He is a dynamic leader who continually seeks to grow—both personally and professionally—while inspiring growth in those he works with an for. Ben thrives on teamwork and finds great satisfaction in tackling complex projects and achieving succesful outcomes through collaboration and dedication.
In addition to his corporate experience, Ben is the owner of a Prime IV franchise and BPM Exams. Through these ventures, he brings his passion for wellness and community care into the healthcare space, offering high—quality IV therapy and accessible medical examinations.
Ben is also passionate about giving back to his communities. He has been a member of the boards of several organizations including the Boys Scouts of America, Child and Family Support Center of Logan and St George, The United Way of Logan Utah, and Currently as the VP of the Board of the Shine a Ray of light in Parkinson’s Desease.
Current Projects
Ben has felt for a long time that he needed to share his story. This anthology was the perfect opportunity for him to get started in that endeavour. He is one of 33 other authors who have shared stories that they have experienced that has shaped who they are today. His chapter in this book is that catalyst to him starting off his own book about his life and his story.
When Ben got married in June of 2024 to Alicia Rasmussen, they decided to move her to St. George to be closer to Ben’s children. This was a huge leap of faith for Alicia and one that came with the condition that Ben would prioritize his life so that he is spending 90% of his time in St. George vs in the SLC area where the Prime IV Murray location he built was. From that came BPM Exams. Ben wanted to make sure that he was still using his IV placement skills so that if needed, he could continue to step in and support the Primr IV Murray location. In June of 2020 Ben had some severe back issues flare up on him. He was in a very bad place physically and could not find any relief with his normal course of action. After many visits to the chiropractor, he thought he may need to go down the surgery route. Before doing that, he wanted to act on a suggestion a friend had to try IV theraphy.
